Not to stir the pot but I have been running shims for years and have yet to loose one! I thought you were supposed to check motor mount bolts on a regular basis?

How do you shim this? Domed washers cut to the shape of Rumania!
At least they can't go no where.-

Well, if you have to use washers to shim I guess frame work or case work would be a great place to start

just my 2 cents: i use GM starter shims(strait type) you can use across front mount same bolt spread, then cut off holed end(tin snips) to shim one side or other and no chance of falling out
