Panhead name

Post by PhilB »

I want a vanity plate for my newly completed 90" pan bobber. It is a sweet ride with an S & S motor from Accurate, wishbone rigid, 5-speed with kicker and electric start and an enclosed belt drive in the diamond tin primary (that was a real trick)! In Florida, I can use 7 letters only. I tried Tin Top but it was taken! The local HD dealer has PanHead (not too tricky).
I am looking for suggestions-any body got one?

good suggestions! Tinpan and flynpan are great! I am glad to see that after all that road vibration some folks still have a few good brain cells left! I am not so lucky! Any other good suggestions?

Hey! I know Sawyer & Bubell well! They did my wrenching for years and the guy I bought my pan from kept the bike at Red Racing. I rode out to Sturgis with Sawyer a few years ago. I will have to ride up along the river so I'll give you a shout when I am coming!

PhilB, Bubell are I are old Pittsburgh Boys.
Him & I both seemed to dig building motors..
I used to hang down there once in a while when I was in WPB, Many yrs. ago almost a decade.
You ever run into Bubell again tell him 'Pittsburgh Bill'
said Hi.
