I love it! Bikes like yours are out of my price range though and really should be built, not bought anyway.
So I bought a modified '60 Servi Car to get my foot in the flathead door. Hasn't arrived.
I see this is a "G". I'd love to hear how it came about.

This is what it looked like when I bought it from a guy for $2,000 last summer 2018, it was his friend's that died, and hadn't been run in at least 20 years.. The Vin was all messed up, so I found a set of 1939 cases with a title on ebay for $850. I sold the chrome front end and the invaders for $900.. I found a real springer on ebay for $1,200. And mostly everything else was from the Socal swap meet. I have a friend that balanced the bottom end for $75, I bought all new bearings, new rods and crank pin. Heres a picture of "before". Like Robbie said... its a parts bin. The most expensive parts were the hot race cams new $550, The mag $350, the M51 $350 all through ebay. The rear Kelsey rim I got for $50. And the front rim was only $175 at the swap meet. 45's are reasonable to build money wise. I've built a couple. I love these little twins -

That is one of the great things about all these older H-Ds, the parts interchangeability. Here is one I built about 34 years ago from what I had laying around or could trade for or buy cheap.

Unknown year 3 bolt frame, '48 cases, 3 bolt trans, '63-'65 Servi-Car tanks, RL forks, Brit rim laced to WL front hub, Sportster 18 laced to star hub, Italian made seat, Bates western bars, Bates headlight, Hydra-Glide risers, 12V electrics with 65A genny and Superglide battery box and Bosch regulator mounted on the generator, homemade tailpipe made form cut up K- model pipe, chainguard made of aluminum angle, Jap horn, '65 up brake lever, cutdown factory fender, tombstone (a real one back then, they weren't worth anything!), spray bomb paint.
The bike is still around, and the same guy I sold it to still is riding it.

I have some 45 parts available if someone is building a project bike. '42 WLA lower end complete from a running bike, transmission from same, control parts, a front wheel, probably a bit more. I will take pics and post in the classifieds. I also have a rare set of 52WLA cases. Last year military and last year 45 solo.

I’ve just revisited a project that’s been ongoing, in one shape or another, for a long time. It was running, in a Samwell replica frame, in 2017 or so

I’ve long since had a genuine frame, with V5 (title) so I’ve set about the long-postponed rebuild. First, a 1940 2-bolt gearbox in NOS condition (for the narrow clutch)

I have been working on getting my 1942 WLA back together. It is now running and riding. Slowly adding all the correct equipment back on it. Mine actually came back home from Russia. It was a bike that went to Russia as part of the Lend/Lease Deal. The tires that were on it when I got it said Made In USSR on them! Cool. I have had this bike for about 5 years now. Took a lot of work to get to where it is now. Electrical wiring had to be fixed and some replaced, motor needed work, tranny had to be totally rebuilt, etc. But I just got it out today after sitting all winter and it fired right up and I took it for a ride around the block.

Thanks,
Rob

I just picked up this 1948 Yellowfins / Green 45 cu in flathead in Arizona. It came with a linkert m88 (not shown). The person I bought it from had 2 funky 45s like this... He said they were used at carnivals. The blue one attached, he said was on the wall of death. but that's a story alright!
