vt

there are a couple of things missing in your photo.

the allen screw should be a fillister head screw, there should be two of them on each side of the cable.

also there should be a spring and washer under the cotter key on the throttle arm.

since he has an earlier model the 55 up pic may not be of much use. but it looks just like mine after bob helped me get the tab replaced.

Here is a pic of mine.
Don't know if it is right or not. I do know that it works well.
I am going to take the tanks off. When I do, I will adjust the angle to where there is no dog leg in the inner cable at the throttle arm.

Same set up on the '49 as Dale shows above for his '51, should be the same as your '52 Andy. The bracket and clamp are part no's 56605-49 & 56608-49 from the parts diagram that Panhead posted on the previous page. The bolt, nut, and washers are shown on the parts diagram for the frame group, I'll try to find it.

OK, here's the diagram from the 1949-1957 Dealers Catalog for the top motor mount parts. You may not need all 3 of the #6524 washers between the frame tab and the motor mount 16853-48. If you get lucky you may not need any if everything lines up and you do not have a big gap between the mount and the frame tab, they're just spacers if you need them.
