Anyone can tell me if it would be a problem, to block the frontchain-oiler completely, block the oildrain of the primairy housing, and periodically lube the frontchain with chaingrease ( the spraybottletype) ??
I'm tired of letting my pan stand in the street because everyone complains of the oil i leave on their driveway. Well, sometimes it's a hell of a lot of oil and can i even understand them.

Vol. 2 explains exactly how (1936-64 OHV) within about 185 pics and words to build a dripless "Green" Knuckle or Pan. The book is available from http://www.wwag.com on May 12th.

Hi there
I've read the articles Panhead mentioned. Learned a lot of it.
Very interesting. I now understand a bit of the breathing of the engine.
I still have some questions.
Is the breathing force strong enough to blow oil into the oil tank ? It has to climb a foot and a half or so. Suppose i have to open the tank, so no pressure builds in there.
Anyone has a picture of a oil-collecting bottle/container attached to the primairy housing ?
Thanks

Re: primairy oiler
Thanks Fred,
Volume 2 (blue cover).
We appreciate http://www.wwag.com/ and their distribution. They paid a lot to get the books to Germany. We need them. They've been helpful since Aug. 2000.
Amazon ships the book new, to Europe, I think.
http://astore.amazon.com/panheadhomepag ... e=0&page=5
You can also have someone here in the states buy the book(s) from:
http://vintagetwin.com/ and ship it to you in Europe.
A spiral binding that folds over during the procedures makes for easier following. You can leave the book opened for extended periods and pick up where you left off.
If you have build questions after reading through the guides, you don't have far to ride to get an answer.
