Wish I could find more articles about the 71 Servi.....

Post by 71 Servi Babe »

Here is a 71 Servi, Panzerama and I have been working on for over a year. Everthing on her has been fixed or replaced. I am having a hard time finding any articles on the 71 though. We spent endless nights and weekends researching, ordering parts, rewiring, tearing down and rebuilding this bike. He really only let me strip the paint and do bondo and some fiberglass. He has regrets about letting me play with bondo but I got the hang of it. My painter is Jim Williamson from Jacksonville, AR. He did an amazing job! I could not be happier. As for Panzerama... well just look at the bike...... He's amazing.

Turned out Real Nice.. How does she run ? I assume good!! What carb ? 34 mikuni ?
I like the Studebakers in the background too.. I built a '48 Stude P/up Street rod, 'tweaked' 454 chevy Z-28 front frame clip & blah... Trophy winner. Here's some pics of it !!

Finding info for your '71 like "Owners Manuals' are often found on ebay
As far as any articles, I don't know, The latest servis were for Police Duty mostly. I did a History background search of mine. Documented by HD in Milwaukee, the 27th made in last year '73 Also only year that came stock w/Big front disc brake...

I do belong to 3 other Servi-only sites..

Enjoy your '71 & "Ride it, Don't hide it!!!!
