Post by Jerome »

1955 FLE stock 74ci -- running S&S Super E -- 2 into 1 free flowing exhaust. close ratio gears w/ 11mm BDL -- 25t / 51t.... I ride solo only and really need more top end power. Any input on using Andrews AB cam with solid lifters. Thanks.

On a stock Panny I like the Andrews #1 cam. It will fit without head work.
But if you really want that bike to be "top end" worthy there is no doubt that a set of stroker wheels is a sure cure. My '68 Shovel used $&$ 4-5/8 wheels with "80" jugs for 90 inches, and I can run with the pack with that setup. There are others on this site with happy stroker engines. And fancy cams and big carbs are not necessary with them....
