Original tanks are getting hard to find. Why not fix yours? And there are a wide variety of types, what year and trim style?

My vin is a 42 and early shifter pattern. But tanks are 47 speedball emblem. There's a lot of Filler and the leak so I figures it'd be easier and I just wanna drive it.
I am gonna put some pressure to see if I can see where it leaks. Maybe I can mig or braze it

I'd honestly like to do the early shifter gate. As my trans is setup that way, also I'm assuming these tanks that came on it...my guess repop given what I've seen
