Question to the fabricators in the group:
what do you cut sheet metal with?
I just cut out a shape of a "dancing man", similar to the Navajo/Hopi/Zuni figures from 20 gauge (1mm) steel sheet metal.
For that I used a Dremel tool with small diameter cutting discs. But after approx. 20 cutting discs, I wonder if there is not a better tool for this and one that easier cuts small radius curves.
Tin snips, also pneumatic ones won't do it, angle grinder is way to big, and I have no plasma cutter. Any other ideas?
I usually cut 18 - 22 gauge steel sheet metal (0.7 - 1.2 mm).

Re: Fabricator Question
When I was still working on helicopters, I had a hand held “ nibbler “
I just did a quick search on google and Amazon has a bunch of electric sheet metal nibblers .
I never got a electric or air powered one, because most of the repairs in the sheet metal was smaller jobs.
Check out Amazon.
Good luck, George
