Deceptive listing on ebay

#1

Post by 1950Panhead »

46 knuckle and the seller reports "This FL is 95% original including matching numbers engine, speedo, transmission, sheet metal/tins, lights, front springer, rear stand, primary....ect"
With a panhead frame and no mention about the frame.

That's kind of an important detail to leave out.

I asked the seller about that being a Pan frame, and got no response.
He had just responded to a Q about the video he posted which was a dead end link.
The correct link is:

and there are a lot of other interesting vids there too....

Claims AMCA. They would DQ it instantly for the wrong frame, cannot be judged.
Wrong seat, Army speedo, missing dash light and switch cover , CE genny, no clutch pedal spring, repop rear fender, repop license bracket, wrong headlight mount, missing speedo cable clamp, wrong finishes on everything, repop horn, Shovel oil pump, repop tool box, repop Panhead coil, missing fender insert, missing tank rubber, msising battery cover, and I'm sure plenty more if seen in person..

One of the pics displays a Sidecar Handbook 1936-1979 All Models
Has anyone an idea where I could get a copy ?

Thanks

Early shovel kicker cover. Says transmission is original, but cover sure isn't.

This truly is an exceptional motorcycle.
It was AMCA restoration 20 years ago
This is the REAL deal - not some BS piece together bike.......
Roodog,
He wants to sell, truth means nothing, I sent a note, no response.
You need to be an expert or hire one if you plan to buy anything old on ebay.

" This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available."
Zero bids . Guess someone called his bluff ?
