I’m 69 retired and kick my pan. Seem’s like most of the pan guys here in Daytona have put electric start on cause of bad knees. Swapped a van & two Triumphs for a ‘66 shovel in 1975, and had Harleys since.

71 and still kicking, although my daily riders are a 2000 Road King and an '05 Springer. When I'm at a gathering with an old bike, I tell the crowd that collects to watch me start it "this is a one kick bike when nobody's lookin'!!!!!!!!

68. Still have three 6 volt, kick only bikes. Key is to keep them well tuned and know what they like to start easily. Have to kick the Pan with left leg though as right knee has had 3 surgeries. Paying for the sins of my youth.

67 years young here and enjoying retirement. All my bikes are kick start and the newest being a 47 fl that I put over 8000 miles on in 3 weeks on a ride to Alaska and back this summer. I am getting soft though in my old age and spent several nights in motel rooms rather that outside on the ground on that trip.

Not kicking the Pan but will be soon I hope. Nearing the end of the looong resto.
Other bikes are electric leg. Including my 1980 Shovel which I have had for over half my life and was the first vehicle (of any sort) registered in my name.

Aiming to have some more kick starters in my life. The Pan has a Techcycle electric leg as well as it is for my wife but the kicker still works.

Looks Like we ARE a bunch of old guys. Spent a lot of time as a small kid looking over my dads shoulder in the shop, "holding the lite". He brought home a basket case Honda 90 for me when I was about 13, been hooked ever since. Turning 67.

I rarely go into the Harley dealership but the thing that strikes me is that the only young people in there are employees.

I'm 69 years old and still kicking it down the road.
I won't stop until I can't start it any more. Have been doing it that way for 43 years, total knee replacement and all.
The old girl all ways starts, just not when you want to.
Wish I could collect a dollar every time I've been asked why it doesn't have electric start.
I tell them anyone can ride a new one.

I'll be 70 this November. Knees pretty bad but still able to kick start my Frankin Knuckle. My 76' FXE Shovel is kick and electric so I use the button when riding it which is mostly. The Knuck is ridged and doesn't agree with my back so mostly just use it for ice cream runs.
