H2 battery case
I want to use a 6v sealed acid battery and want to put it in a sock H2 battery case. I know someone was making them. Any idea who?

Re: H2 battery case
Lowbrow customs has a Bates just go to their site and search battery box. I have several of Jeff’s and they look more like an original battery but you cannot see that part when they are installed. I have 1 Bates from lowbrow customs and it looks and works good. It is also cheaper and amca members get 10 percent off.

Re: H2 battery case
I too am considering the battery box that Low Brow shows for the 6-volt look. I'm wondering whether you would know what brand of 12-volt battery would fit in that box.bobphd wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 2:37 am Lowbrow customs has a Bates just go to their site and search battery box. Re: H2 battery case
I use the anti gravity 801 lithium ion which is also available from lowbrow. In my experience though you have to use a modern voltage regulator with these or any sealed battery.

Re: H2 battery case
I too was looking into a battery box to install my Yuasa YTZ14S sealed battery 12V. I emailed Jeff Erdos about his battery box. The inner dimensions of his box are 4" x 3.5" x 7". The Yuasa YTZ14S is too big. I believe the 10AH Yuasa YTZ Battery will fit either Jeff's or Bates box.chop1543 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 2:53 pmI too am considering the battery box that Low Brow shows for the 6-volt look. Re: H2 battery case
When you say "modern" regulator, would an electronic style cutout relay that's a Delco look-alike work?

Re: H2 battery case
If your generator has been converted to 2 brush, sealed battery's do not like 3 brush

Re: H2 battery case
That’s what I use with no problems. It is not a cut out relay it is a voltage regulator in a case that looks like the oem cut out relay on the outside

Re: H2 battery case
Yes, but the original poster was asking about 6v, and you never mentioned 6 or 12.
