That 1960 FL should be an O-ring manifold. No sealer of any kind is required. At least I have never used any since 1967 on anything with 0-Rings
I can't answer for "plumber" style manifolds, but PEEK seems to be the hot tip there....
O-rings are seals by design as long as they are of the proper size and material, no?
One uses pipe sealer on pipe threaded, tapered, fittings.
I don't like the tape because it is difficult for me to use, may get into the internal workings, and the excess looks like crap and unprofessional....

Frame Code ist 2C. That should match with the VIN.
I now have the bike. Pistons are checked and inserred correctly. New Firering-Seals. Valves correctly adjusted. Now i only have to adjust the timing correctly and hopefully she will fire up.
