Battery is old, but never had acid put in it. Any good?

How long does a new battery last?

You might try using another battery with the same voltage. Turn on your charger and touch negative to negative and positive to positive with jumper wires. This may excite your charger and get it started charging. If you battery is totally discharged it won’t start the charging process.

Rule of thumb, fill until the fluid just "puckers" the fill hole in each cell

Myself, I dont run lead batteries anymore, and havent for years

I wouldn't normally have run a battery that was not already sealed. But, I'm cheap and thought if I could have used this one I ought to. I did finally give up and buy a new one once I realized they were literally 1/3 the cost online vs the local stores I checked at.
