Original rear stand 41WL.
Here is a pic of this "As Found" 41 WL rear stand.
I have a nut on a piece of string acting as a plumb bob.
The string crosses the centre of the pivot bolt.
The original , well used stand , touches the floor less than two inches ahead of the vertical line !!
The pivot holes in the stand are slightly worn , as are the original pivot bolts.
If these were new , a tiny bit of clearance would be taken up , allowing the stand to be even closer to the vertical.
Obviously the stand needs to be ahead of the pivot to be stable.
The replica stands usually touch the floor about 6 inches ahead of this point , causing a massive bending force !!

Re: Original rear stand 41WL.
Brief picture posting tutorial using Windows 10 and Chrome browser...
Step1, resize and save photo to less than 2mb. Use Windows10 "Photos" app, 800 x 600 works well.
Step2, Click in body of post where you want picture to display. (There will be a flashing cursor).
Step3, Select Attachments tab.
Step4, Click "Add files" button. Navigate to the 800 x 600 picture you saved earlier. Select picture, then Open button.
Step5, Ensure STATUS has green tick once picture finished uploading, then click Place inline button.
Step6, As a final check, click Preview to ensure picture appears as it should then click Submit button.
Hope this helps and we love pictures
