Re: Unknown cam 103 BX
.390 cam or valve lift? .390 valve lift is way below any sort of performance spec. This cam looks to have a lot of duration, and even more on the 103 than the BX lobes, unless that is just an optical illusion....
Anybody have a $&$ 560 cam for a pre 1977 Shovelhead to sell?

Re: Unknown cam 103 BX
Yea but all Sifton cams have a much longer duration.
Had one #112 installed in my Shovel once. Loved it very much, nice smooth rubberband alike torque but it turned into a gaz guzzling pig From a ~42mpg it dropped to a max of 33mpg. Messing with jets for a month but finally went back to a Crane 288-2B again.
Again the Sifton was a very smooth cam maybe it`s the different ramps for up and down ? Not so hard on the valvetrain ?

Re: Unknown cam 103 BX
Actually no, it isn't. A stock FL cam is .390, an FLH is .410. The old 412 Sifton was an FLH replacement with more duration.RooDog wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 2:12 pm https://forum.sscycle.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=9347

Re: Unknown cam 103 BX
Not being an expert on all things Harley I had to search for that spec. I got that information from Andrews, I suppose they are in error....
