From what I understand he decided to take a break, ride his bikes and travel. Apparently not doing enough business to justify all the effort he has put into it and not seeing being able to keep it going. Hard to say if it will come back or it is another loss to the antique community.

rather than a new thread, going to keep going along the same general path...

Under the "Information" section there is a sub-forum (for lack of a better word) that lists paint color by years and x-refernences "Late HD Part#" and "Early H-D Part#.

For example Cruiser Green.....The Late HD Part# is 9860-K; the Early H-D part # is 11602-41.

Are those strictly HD numbers or would they tie in with DuPont color codes?

Those are HD only numbers. In this gallery section (https://hydra-glide.net/cpg/thumbnails.php?album=438) are some samples with modern codes, but not the one you are looking for.
This site also has modern codes (https://www.hdpaintcode.com/harley-davi ... crossover/), but also not for the older models.
