Re: 43F Knucklehead
No, it did not. Those are either later tanks with early trim or aftermarket tanks. Just because someone is rich it doesn't make them smart.flatboy1950 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 30, 2022 8:31 pm OK , I took a closer look & this gate has first gear at the front , but is the later style // shape shifter gate .... Re: 43F Knucklehead
Man, I just hope that the new owner has those missing oem-parts on the shelf otherwise it`s a rude awakening
BTW: Thanks for the link to this auction !
GOSH the amount of beautiful bikes is killing me , even those dirt bikes from the 70ies brings back fond memories

Re: 43F Knucklehead
I was at the auction. Some people have more money than brains. A lot of bad vins on the Harley’s for example both 43’s had bogus numbers the 41 Knucklehead TA had one of the worst number jobs on it. It’s sad

Re: 43F Knucklehead
What ?
I thought that all exhibited vehicles are somewhat ligid ! At least potential buyers are told that this or that vehicle is not intended for public road use

Re: 43F Knucklehead
Well that’s what they tell you but unfortunately that’s not the case. Both 43’s were re stamps and the TA was a horrible number job.
