All it does is unscrew the nuts. The rest is up to you. What are you trying to do?

Replace the Trippers. In waiting for the tool to arrive.....it just wasn't computing if something, like a ratchet, was needed to use on 1 end of the tool. Thanks!

Take one flat blade screwdriver with a blade width approximately the length of the diameter of the tripper nuts. File a square notch to clear the threaded bolt. Congratulations, you have now created a tripper bolt tool.

A small 1/4 drive socket wrench could also be modified if one needed more leverage that a simple screwdriver would provide.
