Speed cost money, how fast do you wanna go?
Same holds true for vintage iron. It only takes one buyer to make the seller happy, no?

Looks like it's missing a few items:

At a glance from the picture posted above,

carb and manifold
front brake cable
advance cable
clevis to rear brake crossover
oil return line
tank badges

No link to the ebay site, so can't see any more of it.

Still looks like a nice bike, but 43K is a lot to pay when you have to dump a whole lot more into it to make it whole.

Wow. 143,500. I missed the first post. Thought it was 43,500. Like the second poster said, big mistake. I think one could do better for that kind of money.

What there is of it looks pretty decent to me. Would be a nice project but not at 143K. Way too steep at 43K too but sadly, more in line with today's crazy market.

I'd guess its a typo but I see the $143,500 figure listed twice. Once in the 'Buy it Now' area and again in the ad text.

Just look at Zeke's other posts to get an idea of who he is. Very much like Todd. He helped start the Canon City AMCA meet years ago. By his own admission it was so he could cherry pick the vendors on set-up day. Most of his stuff never sells on eBay. But he caters to the Japanese market and other high end buyers and makes lots of private deals. I know several guys who he convinced he would take wonderful forever care of their machines just to flip them as soon as possible. Caveat Emptor.

I asked the seller which was the correct price $143,000, or $43 K. He has made the correction, it is now $143,500

I usually don’t criticize stuff for sale unless it’s misrepresented as something it’s not. But I wish I had bought that pile ‘O junk back in the ‘70’s when it was $500, put it away til now when it could buy me another house.

I guess my '42 FL project is even more valuable than that one, far rarer model!

Fifty years ago a friend sold his motorcycle.
The new owner made changes my friend did not like.
I told him when you sell it's not yours anymore, he was still unhappy.

I bought a 73 Z1 for $500 in 95.
Recently a guy offered $32k, another guy offered to trade for a 47 knuckle.
It was tempting, I still have the bike.
I guess my '42 FL project is even more valuable than that one, far rarer model!
Zeke's 47 has wheels and a muffler.

Yes, I said wheels, you left wheels outside in the desert, you are a very fortunate guy.

How long have you owned the 47 ?

My 47 and I miss it.
