I see Competition Distributing is closing up. Is anybody going to buy him out or take over making his products?

I believe after Lonnie JR died his dad and stepmom lost a big part of their world and motivation to continue with no one to pass the torch to.
Good wishes to the Isams in their retirement, they deserve it. I first met Lonnie Sr in his old shop out by the airport in Houston in the mid '70s. Jr was only about 7 years old.

I doubt it, too much work for young guys who want instant gratification, and too late for old guys who are right there with Lonnie.
Or perhaps you will??

The web site states "the prospective buyer plans to be up and operating again as soon as possible"

I saw a post on Facebook that the Banks Brothers were going to purchase & keep the company alive.

Tom & George Banks are from Pittsburgh and are in the oil & gas business. They are motorcycle enthusiasts & collectors. George has ridden in at least one Cannonball. Tom has an extensive restoration shop. This will be good for the antique motorcycle world.
