Sidecar adjustment

Took the bike for its first ride a few days ago. Everything seemed fine. The only thing I would like to check is the 2 degree tilt of the bike away from sidecar. Steering has what I think is a little pull to one side. Any tricks to getting that 2 degree tilt?

Can't answer the question, but the bike is always going to turn toward the chair to some degree.

The 'tilt" is adjusted with the "S" bar, loosen the two big clamps at the lower sidecar frame rail and tip the bike away from the sidecar. It will pivot in the ball joints. Do it on flat level ground like a driveway slab or garage floor. A framing square and 4' level will help. the 2 degrees is approximate and is designed for common road crown on two lane roads.

There are mechanical levels with a degree needle built in. Also, smart phones (iphone) have a level (in degrees) built into the measurement app. Find a horizontal or vertical surface on the bike to level off of. I`ve not found it too difficult to eyeball, after having attached the hack several times.

That´s how i did it - with my smartphone. Not sure if it´s correct - but i think that driving with a sidecar attached is a special kind of experience. Mine is doing ok - but i have nothing to compare with. The faster i go the better it´s going straight. Funny
My kids love to drive it and 4 days ago i had a 83yrs. old passenger in it (father of a friend), for him it was a journey into his younger days and the smile on his face didn´t went away for hours after the ride.

I have some friends with sidecar rigs. One, who is a very good rider, told me how much of a challenge it was to learn to ride his Ural rig.
