Here ya go Robbie

#1

Post by 1950Panhead »

Some guy took his 46 knuckle apart and then he kicked the bucket.
A bunch of crazy people have bid it up to $48k and the auction is just getting started.
Check out the floor boards !
What do you suppose it will sell for ?

The side car is listed in another auction.
Why would you want an electric fuel pump ?

Well, that kinda sux, but the engine number is still intact so couldn't that be used to resister the bike, especially in another place other than Cali?

Yes, each state has it's own procedure, I hold the surety bond record with my agent.
Bikes like this used to sell for $12k
The pump is not knuckle.

Agreed.
Personally I never bid on anything a actually want until the last minute. There is no point bidding against myself and running up the price.
Perhaps, this is not a real auction, but rather a shills playground, no?

The bid history shows one guy probably put in a high max bid and the other guy keeps bidding which triggers the max bid each time until he finally surpasses it. I wouldn't doubt there will be some cancellations.

I looked at the sellers other items, It appears that the seller actually does specialize in estate items. If those bidders are legitimate I say more power to the seller. Unfortunately these kinds of sales are what have turned old bikes into a rich mans hobby.
