HD 1959 big twin wanted
I'm looking to buy a 1959 FL or FLH in nice original or correctly restored condition. Can be hand or foot shift. I'm not looking for a project bike right now.
I appreciate hearing from you if you have one for sale or know of one available.
Thanks!

Re: HD 1959 big twin wanted
I bought my 58FLH from Greg who is listing this 59. Good guy to deal with. If you are interested I suggest calling him on the number he put in the description. That's what I ended up doing and he was able to work out a great deal for me.

Trust but verify! Those are 2 '59 pans, matching numbers, correct frames etc. A $10K price difference. All depends on what you want it for? Either might be worth a plane ticket to see in person. As said, Trust but Verify!

Robbie.
What's your opinion on the other 1959 FLH for sale on eBay?
I appreciate your feedback.

Re: HD 1959 big twin wanted
The second one listed is like night and day compared to the first one. Robbie, did they have that rear fender tip on 59's? My 59 has one as shown in the parts book that doesn't look at all like that one. I would spend the extra 10 g's as tracking down the right parts gets expensive. Just the right dash and speedometer could set you back 3 thou.

Re: HD 1959 big twin wanted
I did a closer examination of the more correct 2nd 59 FLH. In my observation the bike sustained enough front end damage or roll over that the frame mounting tab for the front crash bar got damaged. I can see the frame tab was not properly repaired and am concerned about the front downtubes being tweaked.
Otherwise a fairly original bike with a lot of individualization which is fine.
