Harley MT500
Not really a vintage bike but I thought maybe some of you guys might be familiar with it since it was a DOD or Military HD issue. I know there are only 500 made so that makes them somewhat rare but are they at all desirable? Someone offered us one to purchase but I am not sure if it is a wise decision. One sold back in April on eBay but that is the only one I could find, there are a few on Cycle Trader for sale currently for around $11k. Is this a bike worth buying if the price is right? Would anyone here be interested in one for around $9k possibly? Not sure yet of mileage, but I think it has around 100 miles on it. I will get more info from the seller this week. Thanks for any input on this odd machine.

That was basically a badge engineered Armstrong with a Rotax in it. Military collectors may have an interest. I don't know any H-D guys with interest other than in a large museum just because.
