Hey, Fellas....
Anybody out there know the introduction date of the S&S Shorty series of carbs? Sorry, that's a Yes/No question, I would actually like to know the year they were first offered for sale.... Thanks...

OK, if anybody cares, I contacted S&S with this question and their reply was: "1990 E/G carbs" And that was all there was to it.... RooDog

Roodog,

Thanks I care as one came on the 1980 Flh80 I bought around the end of the Pandemic.
It came with a boatload of original take off parts the full compliment of garbage barge
set up, extra nacelle, repop chrome and the original Keihin which I am hoarding, lol.
The Super E is dialed in and starts EZ like you said it should.

Dave...
If that original Keihin carb is other than a CV it is probably best left on the shelf or on eBay. They were just not very good carburetors, in my opinion....
