1965 rear hub
Trying to sort out my rear Tire and brake assembly on my ‘65 Panhead. I have the spacer for the right side and I have the spacer for the backing plate. But when I slide in my axle in the stock star hub the left side doesn’t make contact with the axle. The whole tire assembly is wobbly. Is there another spacer for the hub axle assembly for the left side??? The parts manual doesn’t show anything. Thanks in advance.

A few pictures would help, as we could see what you're working with. Sometimes the parts people are attempting to put together doesn't always work well with each other (or are correct for the bike). Re: 1965 rear hub
Sounds like you have a mid-star hub, in which case the axle will not contact the hub on the left (drivers) side because the bearings are now in the brake drum.

It’s not a mid star hub, I rebuilt the hub and it has the loose rollers all 26 of them.

Re: 1965 rear hub
You may not have the correct stub axle and spacers for the left side. The stub axle inserts into the hub large end, then the backing plate slides over it, then the inner axle spacer. It all then fits into the swingarm, then the outer spacer and nut go on, finally the lock tab and axle nut. The stub axle inner diameter fits the axle OD.

Re: 1965 rear hub
I don’t have any spacers on the left side, just have the backing plate spacer and the axle adjuster spacer and axle sleeve. Then from the inside of the swing arm to the hub ... nothing.

Re: 1965 rear hub
You have several wrong parts, and what is going on with the hub? The end doesn't look right.
Look at this pic of brake components. Your left side stub axle should look like this, and the spacers. Parts 15-24 in the drawings.
