Nice Andy.
I do have a spare shutoff rod. Maybe I'll do one of your tips.

Hi Andy, thanks for the reply! I will keep you posted. I have to dig through my parts boxes to find that old shut-off rod.

Re: 1965 FLH Fuel Rod Leaking
Just received 3 fuel rods back from Andy after he installed the Peek tips. Quick turnaround, very easy transaction and certainly more reasonable than buying complete new units. One leaked like a sieve before I sent it and the others are for current projects. Be a week or so before I get one in use, but pretty happy with the way they turned out so far. Will update once I get one in service.

Re: 1965 FLH Fuel Rod Leaking
Happy to report that my 62 no longer leaks fuel when sitting. The peek tip that Andy installed is working great. No raw fuel smell anymore, no leaks, and bike starts better after sitting.

That makes me feel good...almost as good as i felt when I re-tipped my own shutoff rod, and no longer had to expect to find a pool of gas near the lifter blocks...Lowbikemike wrote: ↑Fri Aug 10, 2018 2:11 pm Happy to report that my 62 no longer leaks fuel when sitting.
