I picked up a stock toolbox for my 1960 duo glide at the antique swap meet in Davenport Iowa last summer. Its only a 30 minute drive from my home. How does it mount on the the frame. There is one hole on the frame where it mounts; but where does the other hole on the toolbox go ????

You should have 2 threaded holes. There are 2 big flanged washers and oval flat head screws to secure through both holes. This is the best picture I had on hand.

The tool box should have a smooth cover, with a captive slotted screw. the box mounts to the frame with the narrow side up.

The lower mount is a cast lug on the lower frame casting above the two holes for the muffler bracket, the upper is in the middle of the tube behind the oil tank. Both are factory threaded to 5/16-24 for the countersunk head bolts.
