Logged in, can't view gallery, "not authorized to view this forum" power cycled my phone, no change.

That is very strange, even if you are not logged you should be able to view the gallery. I'll have a look.

The backup Gallery is mine (if that is what you mean). In the meantime I'm trying to find out what is going wrong with the 'official' Gallery.
