Vin numbers real or fake
What are your thoughts on this vin. I saw no grinder marks or weld on pad. Belly numbers are 1-56×××xx. H stamp on both cases halves at rear mount. Every thing seems correct but the staming looks sloppy. The font looked correct as far as I can tell. Thanks

I don't think they look sloppy at all. Remember they are all hand stamped.

I'm just paronid. Some of the pictures of vin # I've seen seem crisp. Glad to hear, now let's see what the Highway Patrol think

Straight back "6", and a "4" with bottom sheriffs, looks mighty, mighty fine.

Re: Vin numbers real or fake
Can you post photos of the BNs please because I’m intrigued by the format. Is the hyphen/dash really between the 1 and 5 (1-56)? Some Harley BNs are done like that but they are usually models other than Panheads. Or is the hyphen/dash after the 6 (156-)?
And are there five characters (×××xx) in the sequence portion or only four? Thanks.
Eric
