oil filter mount

#1

Post by jerryd »

hi. I am looking for the mount # 63850-58A for the oil filter for a 1958 FL and two oil lines , the one from oil tank to pump and the one from the pump to the oil filter. I would use after market ones in any usable condition . I just want to get this bike running . Thanks, Jerry

I think I have the bracket to mount the oil filter on a swingarm frame, the -58 part number. Send me a PM with email address, I'll send photos.
Dennis Corso makes the best aftermarket oil lines, they fit correctly without tweaking. Here's his Home Page, navigate from there.

If the cost is an issue, you can try eBay for used OEM oil lines, but even then you'll need to be able to visually recognize the correct ones for your bike.

Of course, maybe someone here can help you out, that would be great.

I think I have the oil lines you need. I bought them used and they were swing arm but I needed rigid, they're chrome. I will get a picture tommorow and post.

I still need the two oil filter lines for rigid if anyone has them??

Jerry, I'm impressed, good job. Necessity is "The Mother of Invention".
In closing that BigCincher hombre is solid Gold, helped me out awhile back.

I'm totally impressed with your fabrication skills, Jerry.
I mean, look at that thing! It looks exactly like an OEM bracket!
I don't mind taking the time to make a good drawing when the results turn out so good. Nice work!
Vato, you're a solid hombre yourself, too!
