Early Pan pushrod inspect and adjustment

#1

Post by troublehead »

going back together with a fresh top end on a '48 Pan, pushrods were pretty quiet and seemed to do the job before tear down. Appreciate any input on cleaning and inspecting the hydraulic assembly and also adjustment once I get them back installed. On my Shovel I recall about 4 full turns after they bleed out, what should I be doing on this Pan where the hydraulic unit is in on top of and a part of the pushrod. Many Thanks
