Soild regulator?? I have

I have a 1959 FL Panhead chopper that I am almost done restoring. It has A 12 Volt generator which has no info on who made it or where camefrom but the front light bulb is a 12 V so I am guessing it's a 12 V.
The distributor is an older advanced distributor... my question is can I use a solid-state 12 V regulator? Here is the info I found with the regulator I am going to purchase :

If your generator is 12V either a 65A H-D or a copy of one that regulator should work. If the timer is just advance and not electronic it doesn't care what the voltage is. Points and condensers are not voltage sensitive. The coil is though, make sure it is 12V.
