The front is July 15, 1950, and the rear appears to be October 10, 1950 (the picture of the rear isn't very good and it looks like the code tag is upside down). Both would have been on a '51 year model bike. Neither one should have a drain hole in the side, just the bottom. The side drain appeared in '53 so with those they would be ten years later.
And they probably are as most '51 cylinders have a big boss on the right side. my mistake on the earlier posting.

Bill, have you anymore photos of those cylinders? As you can see, the date code plates and their characters are different sizes so I've been trying to find out if those differences can help determine casting year. If Pan cylinders are E-series as opposed to F-series then we can work them out, some 1950-cast cylinders have the large unused boss on the R-H side, and we can ID 63-65 Pan cylinders by certain other means but some other Panhead cylinders are harder to sort out.
