Crank pin washers

#1

Post by knuckleshoveler »

Hi,

Rebuilding my '53 motor, I found that the washers at the crank pin that thrush against the flywheels were missing. Then, taking flywheels apart I see that the recess is hardly there at all. Everything looks stock... Are there years where these washers we not there?

Thx

Not sure what you are seeing, but in your picture I see a factory washer staked in place.

Yup, never mind.... I guess I expected them to just fall out like my crappy shovelhead ones when I rebuilt that motor. These are staked in real tight.

Thanks.
