Replacing primary chain .. figured out I needed a 12 1/4 mainshaft in the trans on the trip. Replaced the oil tank. Run no filter now.

Yeah. Blew the primary belt at Panther Junction, Big Bend. Didn't have a spare. Bought 2 cogged fan belts at little service station there and made it up to Marathon. But. That is a whole nother story.Bigincher wrote:Damn, panhog- you win...! That's seriously bagged out...! LOL

Spur of the moment trip for myself and my stepson in October 2016 that took us from Frederick, MD to Maggie Valley, NC on day 1, to Myrtle Beach on day 2, Chincoteague Island, VA on day 4, and back home on day 5.
And headed south, September 2017

Re: Loaded Up, Show us your bike out on the road...
Here's a few pictures from our most recent trip, about 1000 miles, to Hammondsport, NY to the Glenn Curtiss Museum.
We had 8 bikes from '36 - '76 and were on back roads all the way. The only issues were a flat tire (Thank you 'Fix-a-Flat'!), a closed up set of points, and a couple of fouled plugs. The roads and the museum were fantastic.
