I'd be a lot more concerned about the 8 that was OBVIOUSLY stamped over the 7...!

RUN! The vin boss has been ground down, wrong 4font, wrong F font, as mentioned the 8 is stamped over a 7. This is a poorly executed number job.

VIPER---YEA man RUN, but not to fast/If it runs & you confront the dude that the Stampings are WRONG & a PHELONY!---You can still use the rest of the machine,Get Good CASES,& You may get it CHEAP!--But go with the FONTS of the numbers & SHOW HIM that your no DUMMY!.I ve seen it before Famous last words-(Give me 5K & take it!),before it was 14,500!.Its worth a shot/you never know?.Good cases with paper another grand,& you may get what you want for HALF or ALOT less.This may sound GRIMY to a few guys!-I KNOW.I look at it this way--OPORTUNITY.Also if you ever had a Bike stolen (I have)-it sucks yea,but these BIKES are not cheap,we all know it.You obviously liked the bike enuff to check on it,SO If not YOU---Some poor Bastard who dont know shit IS paying HI-DOLLAR for a PHELONIZED CASE NUMBERS!.JUST my 2 on it --Been there & its not good things that go thru your mind when you have a bike stolen!----Respectfully----Richie

Personally i would not touch ANYTHING off that bike. Most likely stolen too. Bad karma buying stolen parts.
