Clean Pan Motor

#1

Post by PanRider »

Thought instead of asking a question I'd share my fun of having a clean motor! Spent several hours using engine degreaser and brass and nylon brushes and a lot of elbow grease but she came out nice. Next, removing the pans to put helicoils (sp) in stripped out pan bolt holes. Guess I do have one question - what are the best pan gaskets to use? Before and after pics

It did clean up nice! Good job. I would loose that gas filter. Just something that can vapor lock on you.
