Replaceing Duo riser bushings
I have a couple inches of slop in the handle bars on my 64, just wondering if the bushings are a pain to replace and if new ones are any tighter. I don't see any "firm" bushings listed, just the V-twin parts http://www.motoparthub.com/28_2121_VTwi ... ushing_Set" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Mike

Panacia---If the bushings were in there for ALONG-TIME, Most likely you will have trouble getting them out!--I used a zip-bit on a dremmel after all else failed!--(Kroil wouldn't loosen them up).But if they have been already changed out in the last 5-yrs,You should have no issues getting them out!---If you see RUST in there most often its a PITA,But absolutlely doable---RESPECTFULLY----RICHIE

Re: Replaceing Duo riser bushings
I'd look for some NOS bushings, they should be around still, that will give the right "feel". Give Old dude a call might have some. Be happy your not removing them from glide risers. If all else fails cut them out.
