V-twin sells them. Some HD dealers still have them, also. Mike

If your dealer does not have it or won't get it, find a business in your area that sells gaskets and gasket material.
The material is closed cell foam, 1/2" wide x 3/8" thick with adhesive on one 1/2" side. one original H=D package I had
the foam made by 3M (for you a local company) I used to buy from a supplier 25' for less that one package from H-D
Just ask for closed cell weatherstrip.

I've tried the 3M closed cell foam.
My bags are black.
When it get's hot from sitting in the sun, the foam separate's from the backing. No matter how loose I apply it.
I want the old rubber gasket material that staple's around the top of the bag.
Thanks for the responses.

I just acquired a set of originals for my 62, and after some sanding and a little repair of some frayed edges, THIS will be my next task. So...the way the gasket is supposed to go, is it encompasses the top edge of the bag? (And, is what's on VTwin the closest?)
