Both were over fifty miles (80km) from home.

Not necessary, Robbie!

The associate with the unpainted tins makes the trip regularly, when he doesn't ride his Triumph.

I fear my Chief will only get pushed, if I never get the powerplant installed.

Yes, John, but fear not,...

We are protected by a chain-link fence.

50 miles out here is like a ride to the post office to mail a package. Or to get to a restaurant worth eating at. We share a border with Mexico, but it is 400 miles from me...
Distance is different in the west.

Sounds desolate, Robbie!

Do you have to jump canyons and stuff?

Only a few canyons to jump, but a few broke down Indians along the trail.
