Our USA members
Now we have this topic for non-USA-members and guests I think it is a nice idea to have the same topic for USA-members and guests.
Tell us about riding in your areas. Info like riding seasons, roads and road condition, gas prices and favorite trips or events that you might attend.
And one picture can tell more than a thousand words.

Re: Our USA members
New to the board here and I live in southern Kalifornia. We can ride year round down here. I just picked up a 62' pan from my uncle who lives in Austin. Here's a pic for now. I have more just need to get them into my photobucket. But if you've seen the Choppahead Vol 3. then you've seen this pan already. It will be featured on chopcult sometime this week also.

Re: Our USA members
Oahu Hawaii...Beautiful riding weather all year round. Round is the key word here. We go round one direction till we get bored or dizzy or both then we turn 180 degrees and go round the other direction. Sometimes we live it up and cut straight across the island from various points. One thing you learn soon after you start riding here "There are only so many ways to slice a pie"
Aloha....Mike

Re: Our USA members
Best time to ride of the year is right now in the Valley of the Sun, Phoenix. Highs in the mid 80's lows in the upper 50s. Ride all year round, if you don't mind sweating your butt off in 115 degrees. Ride early or ride late in the summer or head to the mountains. But you still got to get, home.

Re: Our USA members
North central South Dakota. The positives are hundreds of miles of open road with virtually no traffic and great scenery. On the negative side, cold temps Nov. through Mar., the wind 25 to 30mph very common, and few old bike guys to ride with. Through chance and flukes in the weather I've managed to ride at least one day a month during the past winter.

Western North Carolina, lots and lots of roads, Deals Gap AKA The Dragon, Blue Ridge Parkway and the Cherohala Skyway, Wheels Through Time Museum in Maggie Valley a must see just to name a few, there are way to many more numerous rides that I don't have time to enter.
