Fellas.
I am in need of a piece of 530 rear drive chain about a meter long, so I can make a tool to be able to torque my transmission drive sprocket. ( no frame here at home in Germany to put the transmission in ).
I have built the transmission with the assistance and advice from the board members here and all I need to do to finish the build is torque/tighten the sprocket nut.
I have checked local area, but everyone has got "modern" bikes with belt rear drive.
If anyone here in Europe has a piece of chain that they could spare, let me know .. will pay for it and the cost of mailing to me in Germany.
Thanks.
George

Re: Drive chain
Take the lid off , engage two gears : this will lock the trans up ... tighten the nut ... disengage the gears & put the lid back on.
Better still : Do this before you put the lid back on for the first time !!
