Re: V-Twin Engines
No replies, sorry...
Our german motorcycle friend Rainer Traupel, his nickname is "Düse", constructed already in the 1980s a big V-2 motor from scratch. A 1200 cc motor, named the "Düse 1200".

The motor never went into production, was very powerful, combined with British components, etc... (Please see attached picture)
Mr. Traupel was and is a brilliant designer and mechanic, the motorcycle went like crazy...
(No idea about myself about the technical details, something like that is beyond my personal horizon)

Re: V-Twin Engines
One of the earlier "highlights" was for sure the so called "Satte Literschüssel", a monstrous single-cylinder motorcycle.
1440 cc on two wheels, with a HD transmission, and kickstarter. Some people are really "verrückt", but in a positive sense...
(Please see the attached photo)
There is a very typical german saying: "When things get too much for the donkey, he goes onto the ice!"

Re: V-Twin Engines
The madness went much further:
The "Dolmette":
"The Dolmette is a motorcycle that was built as a one-off by the Dolmar company based on ideas from Werner author Rötger Feldmann alias Brösel. The Dolmette is powered by 24 chainsaw engines with a total displacement of 1.9 liters, which together produce approximately 170 hp (125 kW) and deliver 400 Nm to the transmission input shaft. A kart with three PS-7900 chainsaw engines served as a test object during development."

* Sorry for the bad video, there is no better one...
