Been a while since I have worked on my bikes, too much going on with work and life lately to make time but this past week my friend offered to help get my knucklehead on the road. Since it's the holiday season I am low on funds so I will put this bike together with random parts that I have laying around and then over time I will get new, matching parts for the bike. For now it will be a bunch of mismatched random parts to make it as affordable as possible so I can get it running as well as save some cash for the 63 that is up next. Here are two pics of what it looks like as of this morning and a link to a YouTube video of the motor running. This is the first time since I purchased this bike that I have actually tried to fire it up. I think I have owned this bike for 5+ years at this point. Hope to have it on the road by Christmas maybe.

Sounds great! Smooth. Looking good, too. Funny, I was just looking at a Pacific Mike video a few minutes ago where he fired up his Knuckelhead for the first time since he freshened up the top end.

Yes... Bike sounds great! Sounds like a good plan to get it up and running and on the road soon.
I'm guessing by your seat set-up you must be one of the youngsters on this site I hear about. Somebody who still has some cartilage left and discs that are still where they belong. I remember those days...

I'm not as young as I used to be but I am still only 41 so my back is in good shape for now.droptopford wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2023 3:06 pm Yes... Bike sounds great! Sounds like a good plan to get it up and running and on the road soon.
