Yes, and as I stated I have lots of the early ones, just not a continuous run, all the others are complete year runs with no missing issues...

Great thread, great paper, and great info.

As to the Special Supplement (numbered pages 145-149) that is included in at least some non-OEM versions of the parts catalog dated January 1, 1940, if the supplement was originally issued as separate material, anyone know when or how the supplement was issued? For example, (a) via a cover letter to dealers accompanied by the loose pages, (b) with any type of cover page of its own, or (c) some other way?

Is the parts catalog dated January 1, 1947 just a re-run of the 1941 parts catalog with no changes other than on the front cover?

Anyone have a hard or pdf copy of the 1952 supplement that they may be willing to sell or trade?

Blows my mind. Good going Robbie. Pictures tell the story. Guess that explains why you can keep us all straight on our early hogs.

More catalogs. No parts books were published between '41 and '45 except military versions. No parts book was published in '46 or '47 and no known supplements exist, only the price lists which show the part numbers and then the '48 catalog which covers the late knuckleheads. No catalog in '52 or '53 but there is a supplement especially covering the foot shift parts. There is a '55 supplement also.
Robbie,

I was just revisiting this thread and your comment that no parts books were published in 1946 and 1947. I assume you are talking about Big Twin. Below is a picture of my 1946 Spare Parts Catalog for 45 Solo and Servi-Cars, issued May 1, 1946.

Not trying to correct you, just looking for clarification, I doubt I own a Holy Grail parts book, thanks in advance for your response.

That one is pretty common Bill, I have at least one NOS one along with the one I've used for the last 40 years or so and they are on eBay all the time. Also the 1950 45/Servi-Car stand alone book. Previous to that one H-D combined BT and 45 parts in the same catalog. From then through the end in '73 Servi-Car stuff was a separate book.

New Acquisition arrived today, the '65 dealer only Customer price list. This shows all models and all options so the dealer could work with a customer on an order. These are rare pieces. Up to '57 H-D used an order form, from '58 up they used a booklet along these lines. I've posted from others I have from time to time but never had the '65 version.

That's a great collection you have. The administrators of this site need to change the "Knowledge Base" section to "Rubone".
