Hey Panhead,
I couldn't figure out how to re-size my pics so that they would fit, so maybe you could?
Thanks,
rootwad

Use the right browser. The first time I tried to add a picture I was using Googles "Chrome" browser. It worked fine for posts, quotes and replies, but It took me a while to realize that it was not compatible for adding pictures. It only worked using "Internet Explorer". I don't know if the forum has been tweaked to work with browsers other than Internet Explorer.

Scrap, I use FireFox and Chrome, not IE. It should work independent from the browser you use.

This isn't true. The picture won't upload if it's more than 1920 pixels wide or 1600 pixels across. If you resize it to smaller dimensions, then you can upload the picture.

Courtesy, Folks!

A pic doesn't have to be enormous, and it will be appreciated much more if it isn't a "mural".

If its over 350KB, its rude from my perspective.

My ancient IE does fine, but my Opera on my home machine keeps switching to "mobile".

I have never owned a cellphone, much less a 'mobile' device.
Ain't anxious to,... either.

Yes and no. As stated in the first post of this topic the maximum size of a picture is 2 Mb and dimensions 1920 x 1600 (which is quite generous).

What I meant with
Big pictures are automatically resized for display.
is that pictures bigger than 1024 x 768 (and smaller than 1920 x 1600) are resized.
* Maximum size per picture: 2Mb
* Maximum dimensions: 1920 x 1600 (pixels)
