Hello,
I have a FLF panhead with hand-clutch foot-shift but may want to convert it to hand-shift foot-clucth.
If anyone has these parts including a spare tank that work for a 1955 model, please let me know. I'm located in California and will pay for postage shipping. I prefer original but don't mind repop parts if that's my only option.
Thank You,
Allan

Re: [Wanted] Panhead Hand Shift Foot Clutch parts
I hope your engine number does not say FLF.
The tank you need is two years only, '55-'56. It is the only one with the emblem mount in the correct location for the Victory Emblem and clearance with the shift gate.
Top to bottom,
'51-'53 script up high with underline
'54 only Script up high, no underline
'55-'56 Script lower on the tank side
All use the same mounting strip and screw pattern, just in a different place on the tank.
The rest of the pieces for the conversion are pretty generic and used for many years.

It just says FL. Is there any difference between the ('48-'65) tanks shape and size other than emblems?
