Panhead Expert in Belgium or close to it
Dear all,
I would like to do a rolling restoration of my 64 Panhead over the next 5 years.
For that, I need a panhead expert that can check the bike through and make a list of things that need to be done. Obviously, I am happy to pay for the time and effort this takes.
Does anyone know such an expert in Belgium, the Southern Netherlands, Northern France or Germany?
The goal is to have a technically very good bike to do tours with my wife ....

Orale Una Mano = One Hand.
Commendable endeavor, a rolling restoration will entail many changes. But arm yourself, educate yourself, lots of literature available regarding these tractors. With space, MONEY, tools you can do most of it. I usually just send the machine work out, but the rest I do myself. Give it a shot, you may enjoy the challenge more than you think.

My thinking exactly, dear Budda, my thinking exactly. I am looking for an expert to do with me an initial stocktaking of what needs to be done, what to do myself, what to farm out, and to be queiet honest to have a run-to when I am stuck. My panny has also some weird unique features that I want to sensecheck and see if I leave them on or go back to stock.Buddhahoodvatoloco wrote: ↑Wed Dec 14, 2022 6:58 pm Orale Una Mano = One Hand.

But essentially, I want to do the work myself, also to learn how to fix my tractor when needed.
Thanks for your supportive message, the Clymer manual is already there, lift and tools in the garage, etc etc etc

How about a picture or two of the bike we will be working on?
It would be nice to follow along, and offer advice/opinions but only if asked for.....

And here a few pictures.
In the meantime, it has a bigger fat bob tank and a police shifter, as the new tank is wider.
